Filming and Recording Consent

All Garam Masala Dating events are filmed and recorded. By purchasing a ticket and entering the venue, you agree to the following terms regarding filming, recording, and the use of your likeness.

Audience members

By entering a Garam Masala Dating event, you are entering an area where photography, audio recording, and video recording will occur throughout the show. Your entry and presence at the event constitute your consent to be photographed, filmed, and otherwise recorded, and to the use, publication, distribution, and reproduction of any recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name by Garam Masala Dating and its production team, in perpetuity, across all media and platforms now known or later developed, for any purpose, including but not limited to social media, advertising, promotion, news coverage, and derivative content, without compensation, approval, or further notice.

Audience members who participate on stage

Garam Masala Dating is a live, interactive show. Audience members may be invited to participate on stage during the program. If you voluntarily participate on stage or in any interactive segment, your participation constitutes your consent to be individually identified, highlighted, or featured in edited clips, reels, promotional materials, and any other content created by Garam Masala Dating. You understand that on-stage participation may result in content that receives significant public distribution and that you will have no right to review, approve, or request removal of any such content.

Contestants

If you are selected to participate as a contestant on Garam Masala Dating, your participation is governed by a separate Contestant Waiver and Participation Agreement, which you will sign before appearing on the show. The contestant agreement includes a broader grant of rights covering your name, likeness, voice, biographical information, and performance, as well as confidentiality, non-disparagement, and indemnification terms. The terms on this page apply in addition to the contestant agreement, not in place of it.

Release of claims

By attending or participating in a Garam Masala Dating event, you waive and release any claims related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording, and any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, emotional distress, or copyright infringement, or for any fees for the use of such recorded media.

General

All photography, filming, and recording at Garam Masala Dating events are conducted in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to these terms, do not enter the event. This policy is subject to the Terms of Service at garammasaladating.com/terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
