Savannah's small but culturally engaged South Asian community is anchored by SCAD's international student body and Georgia Southern

Savannah is a wildcard, and that's exactly why it's interesting. SCAD brings creative, globally minded students to one of the most beautiful small cities in the South. Georgia Southern adds to the student population nearby. The South Asian community here is tiny compared to Atlanta or Charlotte, but it exists in a city that thrives on cultural crossover and doesn't take itself too seriously.
The format from New York would hit differently in Savannah. Real contestants go on live dates on stage while the audience watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole room mingles. In a city where everyone knows each other and the energy is inherently more intimate, this becomes less of a big city production and more of a communal experience.
The honest pitch for Savannah is this: the desi community is small enough that you probably already know most of the South Asian singles in town. A show like this pulls from the broader region and creates an event worth driving to. Jacksonville is two hours south. Charleston is two hours north. Put the show in Savannah and suddenly you've got a room full of people from three different cities.
We're considering Savannah as a unique tour stop. It's not a density play. It's a culture play. Get on the waitlist or apply to be a contestant. Spanish moss, historic squares, and the possibility of meeting someone who isn't on your For You page.
Savannah is the tour's wildcard on purpose
Savannah's desi community is the smallest on our Southeast map and the most interesting. SCAD imports globally minded creative students, Gulfstream and the port bring engineers and the hospital systems add the medical layer every Southern city has. Nobody here expects a desi dating show, which is precisely the appeal: in a city that runs on atmosphere, the format lands as an event rather than an errand.
Charleston is under two hours away and Jacksonville is closer than that. A Savannah date is really a Lowcountry date, and the Lowcountry has been quietly filling out our waitlist.
What a Garam Masala night in Savannah looks like
A SCAD illustrator and a Gulfstream engineer who have never met, on a first date on stage in a room that appreciates drama as a craft. Live votes, comedian hosts and a mixer that walks out into the squares afterward, because no city on the tour does the after-show wander better.

Savannah has ghost tours, art crawls and zero desi singles events. We find that combination artistically unacceptable and intend to fix it.

SCAD studios, the hospital systems, the hospitality industry and Gulfstream's engineering floors. The crowd is creative and small, which makes one good room worth a season of scattered efforts.
Why would the tour stop in a market this size?
Because culture plays beat density plays sometimes. A live dating show in a city built on storytelling and historic squares is a night people will drive from Charleston and Jacksonville for. The waitlist gets to prove us right.
