The Vellore Fort area has history, the newer commercial zones have cafes and restaurants, but the reality is that the student population is the city’s lifeblood.
The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while the room watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. Vellore has the audience, the comedy infrastructure, and the appetite for live entertainment. This is the show that fills the gap between the apps and the aunty network.
VIT’s national intake means the audience here would be linguistically and culturally diverse in a way that most Tamil Nadu cities aren’t. Students from UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Kerala, and everywhere in between, all in one room. That diversity is the show’s fuel.

Vellore hosts an absurd concentration: VIT's thirty thousand students from every corner of India and CMC's elite medical community, in a town whose social infrastructure is Katpadi's food streets and a fort nobody visits twice. The two campuses run parallel worlds with parallel loneliness, and the town between them offers nothing but proximity.
One show merges the campuses for a night. The engineering-medicine crossover alone justifies the venue booking, and the fest-trained audience guarantees the volume.
