Southall. Wembley. Tooting. East Ham. Hounslow. London doesn’t just have a South Asian community, it has about fifteen of them, each with its own character and its own version of "why are you still single." The British Asian population in London is enormous and deeply established, multiple generations deep, and somehow nobody has built a proper live dating show for this audience yet.
The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while the room watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. In London, where the desi community has depth but no dedicated singles programming, this format creates exactly the concentrated energy the city needs.
London’s desi dating scene is weirdly segmented. You’ve got the Imperial and UCL crowd in Zone 1, the LSE finance types, the King’s College lot in Waterloo, and then the massive suburban populations in Harrow, Hounslow, and Ilford who never get catered to by the "trendy" events in Shoreditch. This show brings everyone to the same room regardless of postcode.
The UK comedy circuit is world class and British Asian comedy has been having a moment for years. The live live dating show that combines South Asian culture, stand up energy, and actual matchmaking fits this city better than almost anywhere outside New York.
We’re building the London waitlist and the numbers are already wild. Get on it for first access to tickets, or apply to be a contestant. Zone 1 through Zone 6, everyone’s welcome.
London already has every desi scene except this one
London's British Asian social calendar is the busiest in the western world. There are Bollywood and bhangra nights every weekend, comedy lineups full of British Asian acts, shaadi season running eight months of the year and aunties running informal matchmaking operations with better data than any app. What London does not have is a live show where two real singles go on a first date on stage while the city watches and votes. New York proved the format sells out weekly. London's community is three times the size.
The apps do not carry the load here either. Dil Mil is thinner in the UK than the US, Hinge is saturated, and Muzz works only for the Muslim side of a very plural community. Everyone is on them and nobody is happy, which is London's most transferable dating fact.
What a Garam Masala night in London will look like
A Southall Punjabi trainee solicitor and a Tooting Tamil doctor who have never met, on a stage in a room that laughs at the same aunty jokes in two languages. Comedian hosts running the date, the audience voting on a second date, and a mixer after where Wembley, East Ham, Harrow and Zone 1 finally cross-pollinate.
London decides when this happens. The waitlist is the loudest signal we track, so , and if you want to be one of the two people on that stage, apply to be a contestant.
No London dates are live yet. The show tours nationally and sells out every stop. Watch full episodes while we make our way to you!

Questions About London Shows
When is Garam Masala Dating coming to London?
No date confirmed yet. London is at the top of our international expansion list. for presale access and casting priority when a venue is confirmed.
Where will the London show be held?
TBD. We are evaluating venues accessible from Southall, Wembley, East Ham, and the city centre. Waitlist members will be first to know.
Is the show open to attendees from outside Zone 1?
Yes. We are specifically looking at venues accessible to the full London South Asian community, not just the city centre crowd.
Is there Asian speed dating in London?
London has a long running circuit of Hindu, Sikh and Muslim speed dating events, and they work for some people. The difference with a live comedy dating show is the room: 90 minutes of stand-up and a live blind date warm everyone up before the mingling starts, so the mixer never has that first-five-minutes silence.
Where do British Asian singles meet in London?
Bollywood brunches, uni society balls long after graduation, Diwali in Trafalgar Square and a packed calendar of desi club nights. Community is everywhere, singles events that feel fun are rare. That gap is exactly what the show fills.
Will the London show use UK daters or the NYC cast?
London daters. The contestants and the volunteers from the audience are always local, that is what makes each city's show its own. Apply to be a contestant now and you are in the pool when London dates land.
