We're Coming to Seattle!Seattle is on the tour list. Sign up below and help us get there! Everyone on the list gets tickets first when we announce.
Seattle's South Asian community is enormous and almost entirely driven by tech. Amazon and Microsoft alone have hired tens of thousands of Indian engineers, and the spillover into Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, and Issaquah has turned the Eastside into one of the densest desi suburbs in the country. UW adds a student contingent. The community is massive, wealthy, and young. The dating scene? Somehow still stuck in 2015.
The show that runs in New York every few weeks: real contestants go on live dates on stage while a packed room watches, reacts, and picks favorites. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. The Seattle Freeze is real, and this format melts it. Everyone in the room showed up for the same reason. No polite deflection, no post-work ghosting.
The Seattle Freeze is real and it hits harder when you're trying to date within the South Asian community. Everyone is friendly at work, nobody makes plans after. The Eastside is full of single desi tech workers who go from their apartment to the office to the gym and back. Weekends are spent at brunch with the same five friends. This show breaks that cycle by putting you in a room with hundreds of people who are all there for the same reason.
We're building the Seattle and Eastside waitlist. Amazon L5s, Microsoft engineers, UW students, Bellevue professionals. for first access, or apply to be a contestant below.
We'll do the show somewhere between Seattle and Bellevue so nobody has to deal with the 520 bridge on a weekend. We respect your commute trauma.
The Seattle Freeze meets the arranged marriage timeline
Seattle's South Asian singles face a uniquely bad combination: a local culture where strangers do not talk to each other and a family culture where your mother wants a wedding date by Diwali. Tens of thousands of Indian engineers moved here for Amazon and Microsoft in their twenties, and the city's social physics quietly guaranteed most of them would only ever meet coworkers. Dating within your org chart is a minefield, so everyone defaults to apps, and the apps here have the same twelve thousand people on repeat.
This is the exact environment where a live format overperforms. The freeze cannot survive 90 minutes of a packed room reacting to a first date together.
What a Garam Masala night in Seattle will look like
A UW grad student and a Redmond engineer who have never met, on stage, going on a first date while Bellevue, Kirkland and Capitol Hill vote on the chemistry. Comedian hosts run the night, the crowd runs the verdict and the mixer after is the rare Seattle room where talking to a stranger is the whole point.
The Eastside waitlist is one of our fastest growing anywhere. for first access to tickets, or apply to be a contestant and prove the freeze is a choice.

Questions About Seattle Shows
When is Garam Masala Dating coming to Seattle?
No date confirmed yet. Seattle is a priority market for fall 2026. for presale access and casting priority.
Will the show be in Seattle or the Eastside?
Venue TBD. We are evaluating spaces in both Seattle and the Eastside. Waitlist members will be first to know.
Can I apply to be a contestant?
Yes. Apply now. Applications stay active for 12 months. Seattle applicants will be prioritized when we confirm a date.
Is there Indian speed dating in Seattle?
Sporadically, and it fights the Seattle Freeze the whole way. The live show format beats the freeze structurally: nobody has to break the ice because the show does it for the entire room, and the mixer starts with 200 people already laughing.
Where do South Asian singles in Seattle actually meet?
Work, mostly, which is the problem. Beyond the tech campuses there are UW desi orgs, cultural events on the Eastside and hiking groups where everyone is somehow already married. A dedicated desi singles night is the missing piece.
Seattle or Bellevue, which side wins the venue?
Whichever side the waitlist tips. The honest answer is the Eastside has the density and Capitol Hill has the venues, so we are watching signups by zip code before we commit.
