McMaster University is one of the biggest draws, pulling in Indian and Sri Lankan students for engineering, health sciences, and business. A lot of them stay. Add in the families priced out of Brampton and Mississauga who moved down the QEW, and Hamilton’s desi population is bigger than most people realize.

The show that runs in New York: singles go on dates on stage, comedians host, and the full room mingles before and after.
