San Antonio's South Asian community is anchored by the medical and military corridors. The South Texas Medical Center has drawn Indian physicians and researchers for years, and the military bases in the area have brought their own wave of South Asian professionals. Stone Oak and Alamo Heights have become the neighborhoods where desi families settle. UTSA and Trinity add a student contingent. It's not as large as Dallas or Houston, but the community is established and growing.
The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while the room watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. It works in big cities and it works in smaller ones, because the formula is simple: put single people in a room with a fun excuse to be there. San Antonio's medical and military professionals deserve that.
San Antonio is one of those cities where the desi community knows each other, which is a blessing for finding a good biryani spot and a curse for trying to date without everyone knowing your business. The show creates a fresh context. New faces, new energy, and a room where everyone is there for the same reason.
We're building the San Antonio waitlist. Medical professionals, UTSA students, military families, the Stone Oak crowd. for first access, or apply to be a contestant below.
You don't have to drive to Austin or Houston for this. We're bringing it to you.
Military City's desi scene is hiding in the Medical Center
San Antonio's South Asian community concentrates around two institutions: the South Texas Medical Center, one of the biggest medical employment hubs in the country, and the military medicine ecosystem across the city's bases. Add UTSA and UT Health students and Stone Oak's settled families and you get a scene that is bigger than its reputation and almost entirely without occasions. The default fix, driving to Austin or Houston events, costs three hours round trip and every ounce of post-shift energy.
A local room changes the equation for the one Texas metro that never gets its own desi night. The 210 has been patient. We noticed.
What a Garam Masala night in San Antonio looks like
A Medical Center resident and a USAA analyst who have never met, on stage, going on a first date while the whole 210 desi scene reacts over drinks. Comedian hosts, live votes and a mixer where the River Walk handles the second location without a planning committee.

No date confirmed yet. We are gauging interest through the waitlist. San Antonio's medical and military communities make it a strong candidate.
Where would the show be held?
Venue TBD. We are evaluating spaces accessible to the Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, and UTSA communities. Waitlist members will be first to know.
Can I apply to be a contestant?
Yes. Apply now. Applications stay active for 12 months. San Antonio applicants will be prioritized when we confirm a date.
Is there Indian speed dating in San Antonio?
San Antonio's desi singles get community gatherings and a drive up I-35 for anything else. A local show ends the Austin dependency and gives the Medical Center crowd a night that fits between shifts.
Where do South Asian singles in San Antonio actually meet?
The South Texas Medical Center, UTSA and UT Health circles, the military medicine community and Stone Oak family events. Everyone is busy saving lives or serving, and nobody built them a social scene. We travel.
Will the military desi community fit in here?
Completely. San Antonio's military medicine ecosystem includes a real South Asian contingent, and a live show is the rare event that works whether you have been in town three weeks or thirty years.
