Carmel, Indiana is one of those suburbs where the South Asian community has built something genuinely impressive. Top schools, beautiful neighborhoods, a growing desi restaurant scene on the north side. Fishers, Westfield, and Zionsville are the same story. Eli Lilly and the broader pharma corridor have pulled Indian professionals to the Indy metro for years. The community is established. The dating scene for single people within it? Basically nonexistent.
The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while a packed room watches, reacts, and picks favorites. Afterward, everyone mingles. It works because everyone in the room showed up for the same reason. Indianapolis's professional desi community is exactly the kind of audience this show was built for.
Indianapolis is the kind of city where people settle down young, which makes being single in your late 20s or 30s feel like you missed a train that everyone else caught. You didn't. Carmel and Fishers built one of the Midwest's most impressive desi suburban communities: top school districts, temple and cultural infrastructure and a professional base anchored by Lilly, the med device corridor and a growing tech scene. Indiana's settle-down-young culture makes it a wonderful place to be married and a quietly brutal place to be 29 and single, because every community space assumes you have already found your person or that your parents are actively procuring one.
The singles valve is a night that belongs to them alone. One show, no aunties in operational roles, a mixer where the question is 'what do you do' instead of 'when is your turn'.

No date confirmed yet. Indy is on our Midwest expansion radar given the Carmel and Fishers communities. to be notified first.
Where would the show be?
Venue TBD. We are looking at spaces accessible to the Hamilton County desi community. Waitlist members will be first to know.
Can I apply to be a contestant?
Yes. Apply now. Applications stay active for 12 months. Indianapolis applicants will be prioritized when we confirm a date.
Is there Indian speed dating in Indianapolis?
Indy's desi social calendar is Carmel community events, cricket leagues and corporate mixers at Lilly. Singles events do not exist here yet, which is exactly the kind of blank map we like drawing on first.
Where do South Asian singles in Indy actually meet?
Lilly and Salesforce floors, IU Health systems, Carmel and Fishers community circuits and Purdue alumni networks. Hamilton County has the density of a coastal desi suburb with none of the singles infrastructure.
Carmel or downtown Indy for the show?
Broad Ripple and downtown have the rooms, Carmel has the crowd. Waitlist zip codes make the call. Either way it is a 25 minute drive because Indy traffic is a rumor.
