Turin is on the tour list. Sign up below and help us get there! Everyone on the list gets tickets first when we announce.

Turin has something no other Italian city has: a visible Sikh community in the surrounding Piedmont region. The agricultural sector in the Po Valley has attracted Punjabi workers for decades, and the community in towns like Novara, Vercelli, and Alessandria is established enough to have gurdwaras, Punjabi grocery stores, and a presence that locals acknowledge as part of the fabric of northern Italian rural life. In Turin proper, Politecnico di Torino is one of Italy's top engineering schools and attracts Indian students across mechanical, aerospace, and automotive engineering.

The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while the room watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. In Turin, this format is designed to concentrate the scattered desi community into one room for one night, creating connections that the apps and expat mixers never deliver.

The Porta Palazzo market is one of Europe's largest open air markets and has a significant South Asian vendor presence. San Salvario is the multicultural neighbourhood. The community is more blue collar and agricultural than in Milan, which gives the audience a different character. These are working people with roots in the region, not transient tech expats. The connections formed here tend to stick.

Turin's cultural life is underrated. The chocolate (gianduja), the vermouth, the Mole Antonelliana, and the Egyptian Museum. The city hosted the Winter Olympics and has a creative scene that includes music, film, and contemporary art. The live desi dating show adds something the city has never seen.

Waitlist is open. Turin is part of our northern Italian plans. or apply to be a contestant.

Turin has Italy's deepest Punjabi roots and newest desi engineers

Piedmont's Punjabi Sikh community, drawn a generation ago to the region's dairy and agricultural economy, is Italy's most established desi population, with gurdwaras anchoring the plains around Turin. In the city itself, Politecnico's engineering programs and the automotive sector import a newer Indian professional wave. The two worlds share a region and no social calendar.

One Turin show bridges the pianura and the Politecnico, and the aperitivo tradition gives the mixer a running start.

What a Garam Masala night in Turin looks like

A Politecnico automotive researcher and a second gen Punjabi-Italian accountant who have never met, on stage, going on a first date while Piedmont's two desi generations react in Italian, Punjabi and hand gestures. Comedian hosts, live votes and a San Salvario mixer with vermouth where it was invented.
