Milwaukee's South Asian community is small but fiercely loyal. Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Mequon. The families that have been here know each other, which is wonderful until you're single and realize that everyone you could date is someone your parents already know. The anonymity that bigger cities offer doesn't exist here, which makes the dating scene feel impossibly small.
The format from New York: real contestants go on live dates on stage while the audience watches and reacts. Afterward, the whole crowd mingles. Milwaukee is 90 minutes from Chicago, and plenty of MKE desi folks have made the drive for events down there. You deserve something in your own city.

Milwaukee's desi scene lives in Chicago's shadow by choice, not necessity
The MKE desi community is small, established and used to being an afterthought: Brookfield, Wauwatosa and Mequon hold the families, the Medical College and GE HealthCare bring the professionals and every single South Asian under 35 has a Chicago events habit and an I-94 loyalty card. The assumption is that Milwaukee cannot sustain its own desi nightlife. Nobody has actually tested it.
We like testing exactly this. Mid-size, loyal, underserved communities throw the best first shows because the night means something. Milwaukee will show up for its own.

A Medical College resident and a GE engineer who have never met, on stage, going on a first date while the Third Ward fills with the whole 414 desi scene at once. Comedian hosts, live votes and a mixer with the lake three blocks away for the walk-and-talk second act.

No date confirmed yet. We are gauging interest through the waitlist. Milwaukee's proximity to Chicago makes it a natural expansion candidate.
Will people drive from Chicago?
Possibly in both directions. The show is designed for Milwaukee's own community, but regional attendees are always welcome.
Can I apply to be a contestant?
Yes. Apply now. Applications stay active for 12 months. Milwaukee applicants will be prioritized when we confirm a date.
Is there Indian speed dating in Milwaukee?
MKE's desi singles get community events in Brookfield and a 90 minute drive to Chicago for everything else. A local show ends the commute era, and Milwaukee crowds are famously better anyway.
Where do South Asian singles in Milwaukee actually meet?
The Medical College and hospital systems, GE HealthCare and the engineering employers, Marquette and UWM circles and Brookfield community events. Tight community, zero singles occasions. Familiar math, known fix.
Would Chicago desis come up for an MKE show?
Some will, the train makes it easy. But this show is built for Milwaukee's own scene, which has been driving south for years and deserves a night where the last call is in its own city.
